Domestic removals (also known as domestic removals) fall into two main categories: blanket packing and full export packing; both are packing methods. The first packing method is more suitable for short local moves within the same city - for example from Richmond to Westminster or from Fulham to South Kensington - it allows for quick preparation and therefore all attention is placed on carrying out the move efficiently and quickly. Of course, all items are adequately protected with packaging materials so that no damage is caused.
The full export pack, on the other hand, is more suitable for long-haul transport between cities or by sea to Ireland and Northern Ireland. A full export pack means that all your goods will be packed as they will be loaded onto a container or aeroplane for intercontinental transport. Nothing beats a full export pack. It may be a little more expensive than blanket packing, but for longer transports you need to be on the safe side.
For both of the above methods, you will have a dedicated person in the office who will follow every detail of your move. Not only will the packers work carefully, but you will have a supervisor who will monitor every step, making sure that everything goes as planned. Remember, 95% of any move is organisation, only 5% is sweat. We are great at both.
The first step is to carry out a survey, so that we can quantify the size of the move. Surveys can be carried out either over the phone or via a specially made Excel sheet, which you can complete at your convenience, or we can send someone to your home. Whatever is convenient for you.
